虫を見たくないので高層階に住むって英語でなんて言うの？

虫が嫌いなので、虫が出ないマンションの高層階に住んでるんだ。
と言いたいです。

【訳】虫が大嫌いなんだ。そんなわけで高層階に住んでいる。

I’m living in an upper floor because I don’t want to see bugs in my room.  
【訳】自分の部屋で虫を見たくないので、高層階に住んでいるんだ。

あえて表現を変えて２例書きましたので、あとはお好みかなと思います。
高層階は、upper floor や high floor と言います。

虫は一般的にinsectなんですが、よく身近に現れる小さな虫（蚊とかハエとかカメムシとか）はbugということが多いです。

Answer

この場合、次のような言い方ができますよ。

ーI really hate bugs, so I intentionally chose to live on one of the upper floors of the apartment building I live in.
「虫がすごい嫌いなので、意図的にアパートの高層階に住んでいます」
intentionally「意図的に・わざと」
