「間隔」英語で space 又は interval と言います。Space と interval はニュアンスが少し違います。
Space は物と物の間の[スペース](https://eikaiwa.dmm.com/uknow/questions/63394/)です。例えば the space between buildings（[ビル](https://eikaiwa.dmm.com/uknow/questions/33164/)とビルの間隔）です。
例：
Could you measure the space between the buildings?
ビルとビルの間隔を調べてくれますか？
Interval は「○○毎の間隔」の意味です。例えば The train arrives in 3-minute intervals（電車は3分毎の間隔で到着している）です。

業務上、「Pitch」と言います。
例文：
- Please check the pitch between the two bars is at least 200mm
また、「Spacing」と言う単語もあります。
Spacing は物と物の[間](https://eikaiwa.dmm.com/uknow/questions/52376/)じゃなくても、例えばワード上、文字と文字の間の間隔を指します。
Distance＝「（距離的な）間隔」
Could you keep the distance between them?
それらの間を、少し間隔を開けてもらえますか。
We need to keep the social distance.
「私たちは社会的距離を置く必要があります」＝（人ごみに行かない）
