It's on the tip of my tongue, but I just can't remember. 思い出せそうなんだけど、思い出せない! 解説:Tipは、先という意味で、tip of one's toungueなら、舌先にある、つまり、口からでかかっている、という意味で、これがいわいる「思い出せそうで思い出せない」の意味です。 I'm so close to remembering it. もう少しで思い出せそうなんだよ。 解説:be close to〜=〜に近い、という意味です。名詞をとるので、remeberingという動名詞にしました。直訳すると、思い出す、というところに近い状態にいる、という意味ですね。 ではまた!

他の方が出されていない回答として、これらの表現もよく聞きます。 1つ目の"It will come to me in a minute." 「忘れちゃったけど、あと少し(=in a munite)で思い出すよ!」という表現ですので、その状況でも使えるかと思います。 2つ目の"I'm almost there." 「もう少しで思い出すところにたどり着ける」というイメージでしょうか。いずれも「あと少しで思い出せる!」というニュアンスを含んでいます。
