「遅くとも、来週までには報告書を仕上げてください。」って英語でなんて言うの？

ビジネスにおいて、報告書を提出する際に上司から言われた一言です。
これと併せて、「早くとも」も英語でなんというのか知りたいです。

「遅くとも」は英語で二つの言い方があります。

まず、「at the latest」です。もっと強調したいときは「at the very latest」や「at the absolute (絶対） latest」と言ってもいいです。文の最後に使うのが普通です。

「Please finish the report by next week at the latest.」
「遅くとも、来週までには報告書を仕上げてください。」

次は「if not sooner」です。「遅くとも〜まででいいですが、実はできるだけ早い方がいい」という意味で使われています。

「I need you to finish the report by next week, if not sooner.」
「報告書を来週まで仕上げてもらわないと困ります。できるだけ早い方がいいです。」

「早くとも」は「at the earliest」です。これも「very」や「absolute」を使って強調することができます。
