内定者と入社者って英語でなんて言うの？

内定者を直訳すると、Job offer personですが、英語で実際にA person who has received a job offerと言います。入社者はA person who has accepted a job offerになります。ちょっとくだくだしいので、Prospective employees: offers given and offers acceptedにしました。強調する部分は「者」じゃなく、より内定数になります。 パワーポイントで、タイトルとして使います。場合によってですが、スライドの内容に内定者という言葉の代わりにThose who have received offersやThose who have not decided whether to accept or decline an offerを使って、入社者という言葉の代わりにThose who have accepted offersやthose who have decided to join the companyを使うのは大丈夫でしょう。 ご参考になれば幸いです。

内定者は “prospective employees”や “employee candidate”という意味です。もし一人の内定者だったら “prospective employee”です。つまり、その人が会社に履歴書などを出して、雇うことを待っています。 入社者は “new employee” や “new hire”という意味です。つまり、その会社に入ったばかりの人々です。もし一人の入社者だったら “s”はいらないです。 例： These are the numbers of prospective employees and new employees. こちらは内定者と入社者の数です。
