Where you see fit' means the same as 'where you like'. 'Fit' means to 'slip in easily' the way a key goes smoothly into a lock. So to 'see fit' means to 'notice a place that will be a welcoming spot for one's action.'

These are all good examples of ways you could tell kids (or adults :) ) that they are allowed to decorate anywhere they like. :) It sounds like a fun and exciting activity, so I added the exclamation mark at the end of the sentences for emphasis.

If you are putting up decoration and are telling something to put them up then you would say 'put them' or 'place them'
'wherever you like' or 'whereve you want to' lets them know you are not bothered they go in the house
