みんな終業式などの式は嫌いだって英語でなんて言うの？

もう一つの言い方は以下です。
Whether it's the opening ceremonies or whichever, everybody hates them.

生徒も始業式、終業式は嫌いだけど、先生たちも同じだと思う。
While it's true students hate the opening and closing ceremonies, I think the teachers hate them too.

生徒たちは面倒くさいし、先生たちは、静かにさせたり並ばせなきゃだし。
It's a nuisance for the students, and teachers have to keep them quiet and in line.

終業式 = closing ceremony

「など」は「like」という表現があります。この「like」は「好き」というわけではないです。リストを述べるときに使えます。

My mother is bad at eating foods that taste fishy.
お母さんは生くさいなどのものを食べるのは苦手です。

In classes that use the left brain like art and music, I always get good grades.
美術とか、音楽などの左脳を使う科目ではいつもいい点数を取っています。
