下記の言い方ではいかがでしょうか。
国によって「点」の訳す言葉は違います。アメリカなら「grade」や「score」を言います。１番のところに「grade」は違う意味出てきますのはちょっと紛らわしいので、学年を言います。例えば、「What was the average grade for the 2nd years?」
ご参考にしていただければ幸いです。
1) What was the average mark for your (whole) grade?
「学年の平均点はいくつだった？」
「平均点」は average mark と言えるので、「学年の平均点」は the average mark for your grade となります。
または、
What was the average mark for the third year students?
「3年生の平均点はいくつだった？」
「◯年生の平均点」the average mark for the ◯ year students と言うこともできます。
