だけど、その表現を使うと、詳しいほうが良いと思います。
例えば、担当の方は何の担当ですか。分からないとき、そのまま使えます。
Please give my regards to the person in charge.
「担当者様によろしくお伝え下さい。」
しかし何の担当かと分かるとき、使ったほうが良いと思います。
Please give my regards to the person in charge of international affairs.
「国際交流担当者様によろしくお伝え下さい。」

担当者は出張中です。
