一年中って英語でなんて言うの？

All yearとは１年中です。しかも、I was busy all year long（一年中[忙しかった](https://eikaiwa.dmm.com/uknow/questions/36525/)）のような言い方だと、このAll Year が『[今まで](https://eikaiwa.dmm.com/uknow/questions/33998/)の１年』と言う意味にもなります。 Year roundは１年中ですけど、これは例えばお店１年中休みなし営業（Open year round)など、微妙なニュアンスの違いになります。 役に立てれば幸いです。

一番シンプルな言い方ですと『all year long』になります。 I've been working all year long. 私は一年中[仕事](https://eikaiwa.dmm.com/uknow/questions/37171/)をしていた。 もしくは、仕事しかする暇がなかった！ と言う様なニュアンスのフレーズにしたい場合は、 I've been working my butt off this year! 私は今年、[がむしゃら](https://eikaiwa.dmm.com/uknow/questions/19500/)に働いていました。 I did nothing but work this year! 私は今年、働く以外のことは何もしなかった（できなかった）！ と言う様な表現を用いる場合もありますよ。 もう少し砕けた表現ですと This year, all I did was work, work and work! 今年は、私がやった事と言ったら、仕事、仕事、そして仕事だったわ！ と、この様に少々冗談っぽく言う方法もあります。

1年間ずっとはall year roundかwhole yearといいます。 日本の店はよく年中無休を書いてありますね No days off all year round No days off the whole year Open all year round 一年中、仕事に追われていた Work was too busy all year Couldn’t stop working the whole year Couldn’t get away from work the whole year

「一年中」を英語にしたら、throughout the year と言います。「1年間の最初から最後まで」を指します。 同じように「一日中」は throughout the day と言います。「一月中」は throughout the month です。 例文： I was surprised that Japanese high school sports clubs have practice throughout the whole year. 「日本の高校のサッカー部 は一年中練習があってびっくりしました。」
