People become less sensitive to different things as they age
感覚という言葉を現れるために2つの表現が使われます。
2つの文章の意味はだいたい同じです。感覚は"feelings" です。"become less vivid" という表現は感受性が鈍ってくるという意味です。二つ目の文章には感受性が鈍ってくるのを現れるために "people become less sensitive to smth" が使われています。
例: People become less sensitive to new technologies as they get older.
