米国での歯列矯正の技術は日本を上回りますって英語でなんて言うの？

「米国での歯列矯正の技術」は ：
「（〜の）技術」 the technology for ~ あるいは the skill
「歯列矯正」dental braces
「米国で」 in America

「上回る」はよく to exceed / to surpass に訳されます。
exceed の方は「成功する」「優れる」という意味です。
surpass は 「超える」「進歩する」意味です。

しかし、どちらかにしても受け身でいうことは難しいです。
exceed や surpass と同じ意味が持つもう一つの言い方は to be advanced です。
そして the technology... is more advanced than it is in Japan.
more... than は比較級で、
it は「米国での技術は」の代名詞です。
