こんな比較級の文法はちょっと難しいですね。あげた英文はほとんど大丈夫だったが、「design」と「色」は逆です。
「AはBより[形容詞]」の文法は「A is [形容詞]er than B」となります。
なので、A＝designとB＝colorと形容詞＝prettyだったら、「The design is prettier than the color.」となります。
可愛い＝cuteという意味もありますので「cuter」でも使っても良いです。

この場合、次のような言い方ができますよ。
ーI think the design of this dress is prettier than the colour.

「このドレスの色より、デザインにもっと惹きつけられる」
to be take by ... で「…に魅せられる・心を惹きつけられる」
