I'd like to も『そうしたいのですが』という意味の仮定法です。
それに but I can't.をつけて「したいのですけれど、[出来ない](https://eikaiwa.dmm.com/uknow/questions/56716/)んです」という意味になります。
それにsorryと謝りの言葉を付け加えましょう。

2 things: express the desire to go. "I'd love to".
Then we use "unfortunately" to show that even though we have the desire to go, we are unable to.
2. Apologising is also another aspect. You can say "sorry" and give the reason for not being able to go somewhere.
For example "I have a prior engagement".

- something that was planned before this invitation.
