Thanks for your help, I really appreciate it. 助けてくれて[ありがとう](https://eikaiwa.dmm.com/uknow/questions/69828/)、[感謝](https://eikaiwa.dmm.com/uknow/questions/36216/)しているよ。 I just wanted to say, thank you so much for helping me out with this. 助けてくれてありがとうと言いたかったんだ。 I was really glad for your help, and if I can reciprocate in any way, please just let me know. 助けてくれて本当に感謝してる、何かお返しができる方法があれば教えてね。 The first phrase is a simple "thank you", and also expresses that we are grateful for the help given, and that it was appreciated. The second phrase expresses how much the help meant to us, by using the term "so much" to reinforce the thank you. The third phrase again thanks the person for their help, and also offers to repay the favour (reciprocate), if the person needs our help in the future.

Some common ways to thank someone for helping you, you can say: -Thank you for the help! This is the most general way to say this. Or you can shorten this to "Thanks for the help!" -I appreciate your help! 'To appreciate' means to feel thankful. So you can also say that you appreciate something to say thank you.

  • Thank you so much for your help. I really appreciate it.

  • Thank you so much for your help. You're a lifesaver.

  • Thank you so much for your help. How can I repay you?

When thanking someone for something he/she has helped you with, it is a good thing to state the extent to which you are thanking that person. So, including the phrase 'so much', used in all three statements will greatly convince the person that you 'really appreciate' his/her help. The phrase 'so much' is the same as saying 'very much' in this context. You can go further and add 'I really appreciate it' as stated in the first statement, confirming your gratitude. The addition of the expression 'you're a lifesaver' can go a long way in convincing the the person that indeed, his/her help did lighten your burden. If you choose to add 'how can I repay you?' you are actually indicating to the person that you appreciate his/her help so much that you are prepared to repay him/her in whatever way he/she chooses. So, you may say: Thank you so much for your help. I really appreciate it. or Thank you so much for your help. You're a lifesaver. or Thank you so much for your help. How can I repay you?

The two sentences you see provided above are great ways to express to your listener that you are thankful for their help. In the second sentence you will notice the term lend a hand. This means to help. This term is commonly used in our everyday conversation. It would make an excellent addition to your vocabulary.

  • Thanks so much for your help!

  • I appreciate that you helped me!

When somebody helps us, it's always nice to thank them and tell them how much they have aided you with a problem or with a task that you were unable to finish alone. The first sentence is a very informal and easy way that can be used in an informal situation. In the second sentence, we can use it informally or formally. To "appreciate" someone means to respect someone for doing something.
