本番をイメージして練習しました。って英語でなんて言うの？

「本番」は performance でもよろしいのですが、performance だと「本番」というニュアンス以外にも、単なるパフォーマンスやショーというニュアンスもあるので、actual performance と言ったほうが　「実際の本番」という意味が強調されて良いかと思います。 as if it were というのは、〜かのように。と言ういみなので、I practiced as if it were the actual performance ＝ 本番かのように練習しました。となります。 「本番の会場や審査員なども想像しながら、たくさん練習をしました。」を英語にすると、I practiced a lot imagining the actual performance with the judges. Judges = 審査員 imagining = イメージしながら となります。どうぞご参考までに。

Yocchiさん ご質問どうもありがとうございます。 上の場面を英語で表現したい場合は、下記の言い方ではいかがでしょうか。 ・I practised my performance as if each time was the real thing: I imagined the exact location, the set, the way the judges would be watching me, ... all of that. And in the end, I did it! --- I did it! = 成功した。 ---- the set = 撮影現場 ご参考にしていただければ幸いです。
