break into でこじ開けて入る、打ち破って入る、という意味です。
車をこじ開けて中に入って盗みを働く、銀行や宝石店に強盗に入る、というような時に使われます。
while ～で「～している間に」
例文は、「友人の結婚式に出席している間に誰かが私の車をこじ開けた」という内容です。
セレモニーなどに参列、出席するというのはattendを使います。
