Now for the second sentence, saying "Everyday has been a scorcher, no matter where I go." •'scorcher' means very hot weather In this sentence, you are saying that there has been very hot weather everyday, no matter where you have gone.

If you are trying to explain the summer heat, then you can say,"this summer the temperature has been very hot. However, if you are trying to explain the extent of the heat you should say, "No matter where I choose to go it is always extremely hot.
