You can call me Yumi. や Just call me Yumi. などの表現を使って「ユミでいいよ」というのが自然かと思います。あるいは丁寧に言いたかったら Please call me Yumi. でもいいです。
その後に You don't have to call me Yumi san. 「ユミさんなんて呼ばなくてもいいよ」と付け加えてもいいでしょう。

Some English teachers may choose to address a student by using 'san'. Others may prefer to be typically English and just use the student's first name. In the UK people would not usually call anyone 'san' or 'senor' if they were Spanish, for example. Even 'Mr' in the UK is not used much outside of quite formal situations.
