アメリカの英語は American English といいます。それと同様、イギリスの英語は British English、オーストラリアだと Australian English などいろいろあります。アメリカ国内でも地域によって英語のなまりとかアクセントが違います、特にアメリカ国内では南部の英語に特徴があるので Southern accent と言います。 例文: I understand American English better than British English. (私はイギリス英語よりもアメリカ英語の方が理解しやすいです。) どうぞご参考に。

When talking about the dialect that American's speak we would refer to this as, "American English." Keep in mind that people who come from Canada would also be considered to speak this same dialect. The only other recognized dialect of English would be considered, "British English," which includes Australia and South Africa into the group.

American English is a little different from British English and the English that is spoken in Ireland. Lots of words are used that we never use and even some that we don't know the meaning of. Also, the spelling is different too. In British English, when we have a word that has two "l's", American English only uses one "l". In British English when we use an "s", American English uses a "z". There are many words that omit the "u" in American Engish when it is used in British English Here are some examples with British English on the left and American English on the right Travelling - Traveling Prioritise - Prioritize Colour - Color Labour - Labor

American English. There are many countries in the world that speak English, and, generally, they all have their own ways of speaking, which makes total sense. So, there isn't only one way to speak English, however, that makes it sound more complicated than it is. For example, the English spoken in America is called American English. But, we all understand each other, for the most part. I hope it helps. Have a great day. Will

American English is the language spoken only in America. As many know Americans have different words to other English speaking countries and these words we could call 'slang'. For example: - In South Africa we say 'braai' but in America they say 'barbecue' - In South Africa we say 'chips' but in America they say 'crisps or fries'

When referring to an American English accent, many people use the word "twang". Example: She had a typical American twang. The American English spoken in the State of Texas is described as a Texan drawl. Example: He spoke with a very pronounced (strong) Texan drawl.
