英語にはよろしくお願いしますの直訳はないって英語でなんて言うの?

言語交換をしている友人が「明日から新しい文法を教えますね」と言ってくれたので、日本語で"よろしくお願いします"と書いて英訳を付けたかったのですが、直訳はありませんでした。"よろしくお願いしますに直訳がないことを英語で説明するには、どう言えばいいですか?

A direct translation is also known as "Word-for-word translation." This is where a phrase may not sound right, but it is grammatically correct.

Examples:
"The Japanese phrase "Yoroshiku Onegaishimasu" cannot be directly translated into English."
"This phrase cannot be directly translated into English without losing some of it's meaning.

"There is not a word for word translation for this phrase/expression."
"Is there a word for word translation of this book at the library?"

This is a common situation in not only Japanese but many languages. If you are speaking with a non-Japanese speaker it is always helpful to speak slowly when integrating your Japanese words in English sentences. It is rather simple to memorize this sentence for when this situation arises - "There is no direct English translation of "Yoroshiku Onegaishimasu".
