朝型（の人）を a morning person,
夜型（の人）を a night person
といいます。
（そのままですね！）
morning = 朝、night = 夜
a ... person で「〜の人」と言えます。

If anything, I'm a morning person. あるいは
I'm kind/sort of a morning person.
といいます。
朝型の人っていいですね！

nocturnal は「[夜行性](https://eikaiwa.dmm.com/uknow/questions/70095/)」という意味で、例えば・・・
Most bats are nocturnal.
「大半のコウモリや夜行性である」
などと、動物などに対して使われることが多いですね。
ですが、日本語と同様に、少し冗談っぽく
私は夜行性なんですよ～
と言うこともでき、実際にネイティブも使います。
＊ちなみに、「朝型」に対しては、
I'm an early bird.
という表現もあります。
当表現はことわざの、
The early bird catches the worm.
「早起きする鳥が、虫を捕まえる（あくまでも理解の為の直訳です）」
からきています。日本語で言うところの、「[早起きは三文の徳](https://eikaiwa.dmm.com/uknow/questions/1303/)」に
相当する表現ですね。
ですから、He is an early bird. と言うと、ポジティブな意味で（ほめ言葉
として）使えます。
では、こうした表現を知らない場合はどうしたらよいのでしょうか？
例えば、「彼は超朝型だ」ともし言いたくなったら・・・
He is a very early bird!?!?
などと、迷ってしまうかもしれないですね。
「英単語を知らない」→「該当する英単語を知る・覚える」という
方向性に加えて、「英単語を知らなくても、手持ちの語彙で表現してみる」
という習慣をつけることが、私たち日本人が本当に話せるようになる上で
大切であると、個人的には考えております。
今回でしたら、I am very active in the morning. などと言えば
「超朝型」を何とか伝えられそうですね。
