オンラインレッスンで、The more money you have the harder for you to trust others とノンネイティブの先生がタイプをしてくれたのですが、この文法だと the more money you have, the harder you trust othersがいいのかなと思いました。どちらが正しいでしょうか？それともほかに適切な表現がありますか？

質問者が書いた文は大丈夫ですね。
ただ harder のあとに it is を入れる必要があります。
それ以外はネィティブの言う通り文になります。
こういうことを言う時に、この言い方より、もっと適切な表現はないと思います。
例文 The busier you are, the harder it is to see friends.
「忙しければ忙しいほど、友達と会うのは難しくなる。」
