未来にばかり目を向けていると今がおろそかになる、って英語でなんて言うの？

おろそかになる、という表現が特に難しいです。また、目を向けるというのは意識しすぎるといったニュアンスです。

If you're always looking to the future, you neglect the present.
If you keep your eyes on the future, the present will become neglected.

「目を向ける」＝「look to the future」「have an eye to the future」「おろそかになる」＝become neglected
