尻尾＝ tail
垂らす＝ to drop, to put down
例：
A dog will put its tail down when they are scared.
怖がる時に犬は尻尾を垂らす。
The tail of a dog drops down low when you get angry at him.
犬に対して怒ると犬の尻尾は下に垂れ下がる。
逆に、尻尾をふる時は wag the tail と言います。
例：
When a dog is happy, it wags its tail.
嬉しい時に犬は尻尾をふる。
