同じくらいの意味で使えるフレーズならこの2つがあります。
1個目は「Couldn’t think of it on the spot」です。
「パッと思い浮かばなかった」と言う意味です。
例：
A: Do you know any Shakespeare tragedies?
（A「シェイクスピアの悲劇、何か知ってる？」）
B: Uhh…
（B「うーん…」
A: What about Hamlet?
（A「じゃあハムレットは？」）
B: Oh, I know that one! Couldn’t think of it on the spot.
（B「あ、あれね！言われたらわかるけど。」

2個目の「tip of my tongue」は少し違います。
何かを思いついたけど名前だけ出てこないときに使います。
例：
A: You know the Shakespeare play with the fairies?
（A「シェイクスピアの作品で妖精が出てくるやつなんだっけ？」）
B: A Midsummer Night’s Dream?
（B「真夏の夜の夢かな？」）
A: Yeah that’s it! It was on the tip of my tongue.
（A「それだ！名前が出てこなかった。」）
