「糸がほつれる」って英語でなんて言うの？

安いブラウスを買ったら、２、3度洗濯しただけでボタンを留めている糸がほつれてしまいました。英語では何と言えばいいでしょうか？

the thread came undone
のように言えます。
thread は「糸」
come undone「解ける・ほころぶ」

例：
I bought a cheap blouse and after washing it just two or three times, the thread on one of the buttons came undone.

または unravel「解ける」を使っても表現できます。
例：
The stitching around the hem on my new shirt started to unravel before I even wore it.
