問題解決って英語でなんて言うの？

問題解決の直訳は problem solvingだと思いますが「これは問題解決につながるはずだ」の場合は This should lead to a solution もしくは this should help you solve the problem になると思います。

Fix もしくは solve a problem.

This should lead to a solution の場合は解決があれば、当然問題もある/あったので、わざわざproblem を言わなくて大丈夫です。

彼は問題もしくは謎を解けるゲームが好き。

He has good problem solving skills.

このコースでは問題解決力を発達させる。

This should lead to a problem solving は不自然です。

This is supposed to contribute to the solution of a problem ---> This should help you find a solution to the problem の方が自然だと思います。
