いろいろな表現方法を勉強しているときに、先生に質問したい。

1.は 同じ意味を伝えるのに　
　Do you have other expressions 「他の表現がありますか」という聞き方です。

2. は先生に対してparaphrase this sentence 「この文章を言換えて」いただけますか？という聞き方です。丁寧さを出すために　would you please を入れています。

「他にどんな表現があるか」どうかを聞く時は、

河野先生がご指摘されていたように、
「Do you～？」を主語に置いてもいいですし、

「Are there any other ～？」というフレーズを
主語に持ってきて聞いてもOKです。

「他にどんな表現」というフレーズの訳ですが、

「any other similar phrases」
「any other similar expressions」

というように訳せます。
