「仕方ない」は I have no choice but to ~/I have to ~ で言えます。
「映画を見ているときに、たくさん食べ過ぎてしまうのは仕方がない」というのは When I watch movies, I have no choice but to eat too much と表現できます。

I can't help but eat tons of popcorn whenever I watch a movie.
この場合、次のような言い方ができますよ。
ーI can't help but eat tons of popcorn whenever I watch a movie.
「映画を見る時、ポップコーンを食べすぎてしまうのは仕方がない」
can't help で「仕方がない」と言え、can't help but ... で「…なのは仕方がない」となります。
