Is it correct if I say C in the middle of A and B?

OOと△△の間に」はin the middle of OO and △△と言います。もっと短い言い方はbetween OO and △△です。
文章はsentenceと言いますので、Is the sentence correct if I say C between A and B?は日本語の文と一番近いですが、the sentenceの代わりに it だけで言えます。
