英語で 思ってた通り は just the way I thought it would be など
と表現できます。
更にシンプルに just as I thought も使えます。
どちらかと言うと後者の方が日常に使われることが多いです。
予想してた通りで just as I suspected と言うのも有。
「思ってた通りできた！」
"I done it just as I thought!"
I was able to do it the way I thought I would be able to!!
"Yeah, that's exactly how I thought it would be"＝「あーあ、僕はまさにそうなると思っていたよ。」
（「あーあ」の感じを出すために、"Yeah"を少し長めに言うと日本語のフレーズと似たニュアンスになると思います）
"I was able to do it the way I thought I would be able to!!"=「僕が出来ると思った方法で出来た！！」
