大人数でも you を使う事は可能です。

この時をずっと待っていた は I've been waiting a long time
for this moment と表現できます。
時 は time ですが 一瞬と言った感じで moment を使うのも
有です。

「ずっと待っていた」は "waiting to~ the whole time" というフレーズが使えます。
