"The store has limited the number of customers due to the the COVID-19 pandemic."

という表現を使うことも出来ます。

"is limiting"は、現在進行形で「（現在）制限している」

"has limited"は、現在完了形で「（現在）制限している状態」

"pandemic"は、「（伝染病などの）世界的流行」という意味です。
