「ほど」はas much as thisとか like thisとかthis muchなどに訳せます。回答ではlike thisを使っていませんが、この場合ではlike thisがあまり合わないと思ったわけです。
他の言い方はThere isn't another year...ですが、この言い方で「未来も」という意味も伝わってしまう可能性があると思いますので、提案していません。

この場合、次のような言い方ができますよ。

「他の年より今年は人としてより成長した気がする」＝「今年ほど人として成長した年はないと思う」

「今年ほど個人的に成長したことがない」＝「今年ほど人として成長した年はないと思う」
