When talking about time we use the terms past, present and future the past is a time that has gone, the present is the current time you are living in and the future is the time that is coming up
So you would refer to this time as 'this year' or the 'present time' meaning now
You can also say the year so 2019 - which reads as two thousand and nineteen or twenty nineteen
