こうならないために小さい頃から〇〇通ってたのになって英語でなんて言うの？

I went to 〇〇, so I wouldn't have any problems ... を使って「こうならないために小さい頃から〇〇通ってたのにな」を表現できます。
so I wouldn't have any problems ... で「…に困らないように」
barrier で「障壁・障害」

言葉で苦労しないように小さい頃からインターナショナルに入っていたのに、結局言葉の壁で苦労した。
end up~ は「〜に行き着く、結局」みたいな意味ですね。ended up struggling with language barriersは結局言葉の壁で苦労したと言う意味になります。

例えば言語で苦労した時に、
はぁ～こうならないため(言葉で)苦労しないためにインター通っていたのになぁと言いたい時に
Since I was little I went to international school so that this wouldn't happen...
