（人が）話にならないって英語でなんて言うの？

言い方は非常にシヴィアですが、
He is nothing for any positon.
彼はどんなポジションにも向かない、あり得ない、どうしようもない、という短い表現です。
会社の仕事と限定すれば、
He is incapable of keeping up with any demands of the company.
彼は会社の要求についていく能力無しということができます。
仕事などにおいて能力がないという形容詞は他にもよく使われる、incompetentというものもあります。
He is incompetent.　といえばそれだけで表現できます。

"They're impossible to work with."
- 「一緒に仕事をするのは不可能だ」という意味で、相手が非協力的だったり、仕事が雑だったりする場合に使います。

  "They're impossible to work with because they never finish their tasks."
  （彼らとは話にならないよ、全然タスクを終わらせないんだ。）
