1=our wants in life can also be expressed as a wish we have. In this sentence, you are letting your teacher know that it's a wish of yours to speak fluently.
2=This sentence is the same as the first, but instead of using 'wish' we can also use 'desire'. When we use 'desire' it shows that you feel strongly about achieving this goal of speaking fluently.
I really hope to end up speaking English fluently!
My aim is to be a fluent English speaker
It's nice to state your aims at the beginning of a lesson....although, to be honest, does this really need to be said? Someone attending English classes and spending money for tuition clearly wants to develop their English ability as much as possible. Most teachers would accept that this is the aim of every student - so really, it's not necessary to say this. But you could state that you are a very determined and dedicated student and wish to advance as quickly and as accurately as possible.
"I really hope to end up speaking English fluently!"
"Oh, that's great to hear!"
"Yes, my aim is to be a fluent English speaker."
"Yes, well you seem ambitious and determined."
"I really hope to end up speaking English fluently!"
"Oh, that's great to hear!"
"Yes, my aim is to be a fluent English speaker."
"Yes, well you seem ambitious and determined."
