一般的に「から」は「from」と言いますが、「元から」だったら、前置詞の「at」を使います。
「元から防ぐ」は英語で「prevents (it) at the source」と言います。「it」は代名詞として何を防ぐかを指します。だから、制汗剤の場合では、多分汗を防ぐので、「prevents sweat at the source」となります。
「ニキビを元から防ぐ」の場合では、「prevents acne at the source」となります。
