fewer（数が少ない）を使うときれいです。

* I have one fewer grape than you.
  直訳すると「私はあなたよりブドウが1つ少ない」です。fewer は「数えられる名詞（grape みたいに1個2個と数えられるもの）」に使います。だから「ブドウが1個少ない」は one fewer grape がきれいで自然です。会話でも書き言葉でもOKです。
