僕もホームパーティーが好きで、ユーコネクトのオフィスでたくさん挙げたいと思っております。
英語でなんと言うのでしょうか？アメリカの英語だと、
House Partyです。
We like throwing house parties.
でもHouse Partyはお酒が中心、みんなワイワイしているイメージが強いので
勘違いされることがあります。単に料理を作って、友達と良い時間を過ごすのが目的だったら、Food Partyが良いと思います。
料理が中心になり、お酒や激しいパーティーのイメージがありません。
Home Partyも言えるのですが、イメージはHouse Partyに近いと思います。

Brunch is the time between lunch and dinner where you may organize a gathering of friends to come round for food and drink, perhaps on a weekend or public holiday.
The word Brunch is derived from breakfast and lunch
I'm going to throw a party at my place and ask my family and friends over.
To throw a party:- to have a party:
"Janelle threw a party for Brad's 18th birthday."
My place = my home.
"Come over to my place this evening!"
To ask someone over = to invite someone who lives close by to come to one's home [for a visit]. (Either to a house or apartment.)
"Can we ask Tom over? He has been asked over a number of times."
To throw a party:- to have a party: パーティを開く
"Janelle threw a party for Brad's 18th birthday."
ジャニールはブラッドの１８歳の誕生日を開くんだってさ。
My place = my home.自分の家
"Come over to my place this evening!" 今夜僕の家においでよ。
To ask someone over = 近隣に住んでいる人を家に招待すること。
"Can we ask Tom over? He has been asked over a number of times." トムを誘っていいかな？何度も誘っているんだ。
House party
A small or big party organised and hosted at someone's house.
e.g I threw a little house part for some of my college friends,it was quite entertaining.
A dinner party
This is a social occasion at which guests eat dinner together.
The main purpose of this sort of event is to gather and talk over a meal.
"A small get-together at home"
This is an informal gathering of people at home.
It is usual hosted by the person who lives at the house and the guests are friends who have not being seeing each other often.
It is a good reason to meet and catch up over a nice,warm dinner.
House party
小さな又は大きなパーティーを計画し、だれかの家で行われます。
例 私は大学の友人たちと小さなハウスパーティーを計画し、それはとても楽しかったです。
A dinner party
これはゲストが夕食を一緒に食べる社交的な場です。
こういったイベントの主な目的は、集まってご飯を食べながら話すことです。
A small get-together at home
これはおうちで人々が集まるカジュアルなパーティーです。
通常その家に住んでいる人が感じをしていて、ゲストたちはしょっちゅう会うことができていない友人たちです。美味しい温かい夕食を囲んで近況を話し合ういい機会です。
A "Dinner Party" is an evening party where you will cook supper/dinner for guests that you have invited to your home.
A "Luncheon" is the same as a Dinner party but is at midday and not in the evening.
Instead of saying "home party" you can say "house party". T o express this you can say" I really like hosting house parties and prepare food for my guests."
Hosting means to organise. Therefore this means organizing the party.

""ホームパーティをして飲食を提供してゲストをもてなすのが好きですよ""と表現出来ます。
Hostingとは準備する、開催するという意味です。ですので、パーティを主催するという意味になります。"
"Host" means to entertain or have guests in your home. So you could say " I like to host parties!"
"Entertaining" means you like to provide happiness or and enjoyable time for you family and friends. You could say " I enjoy entertaining my family and friends. We have many dinner parties at my house."
Dinner parties are parties where friends and family come over to have a meal and enjoy each others company. Many times dinner is followed by games or casual talking.
"Host" は「客を家でもてなす」という意味です。
例えば：
"I like to host parties!"
（私はパーティーを開くのが好きです）
"Entertaining" は「（家族や友達を）もてなす、楽しませる」という意味です。
例えば：
"I enjoy entertaining my family and friends. We have many dinner parties at my house."
（私は家族や友達をもてなすのが好きです。家でよくディナーパーティーを開きます）
"dinner party" は友達や家族を招いてディナーを楽しむパーティーをいいます。ディナーの後にはゲームしたりおしゃべりをしたりします。
