"I'm a little skint to be honest, I don't think I can come out." - "Don't worry about it! It's on me, you can get the next one!"

"I'm running low on cash, do you mind picking up the bill this time?'' can be used when asking your friend to pay for your meal.

When you don't have money, you can ask your friend to help you out by using the sentences above. fit the bill: pay the bill, see to the bill sort me out: help me out "I didn't bring any money with today, please sort me out for today's lunch?"
