調子どうって聞かれたときに「普通だよ」という答えって英語でなんて言うの？

Alright, decent and the same as usual are common ways to respond to this question. Usually these responses are used with a friend, an acquaintance may think there is something wrong if the more polite "good" or "great" response is not given.

Exactly how you should answer this depends on your relationship with that person. With your friends you can be casual and give many different one word answers. In a more formal or professional environment saying "I'm very well, thank you for asking" is very polite and can be used for elderly or in an interview.

"Nothing much" is a pretty casual response that is said usually when people ask "What's up?" , you could also reply with "Just chilling" or both together like "Nothing much, just chilling". These are expressions typically used by young people so it wouldn't sound normal to speak with elderly people this way. "I'm alright" is very general and can be used with pretty much anyone and can be answered to both of these questions. "I'm doing ok" is also a general response. "Same old" also works, this just means that you're feeling the same as usual, same as normal.

All Good. - everything is good, everything is normal. I'm fine. - no problems. But with this statement, it can change depending on your tone if you use a tone like you don't want the person to mind their own business they will take it that you are not fine but you don't want them to know. I'm okay. - everything is normal and okay.

You can say : "I'm okay". "Nothing special". "I'm fine". "Everything is cool". "Pretty good".

We cannot always be feeling wonderful/amazing and brilliant:-D So sometimes...we might use standby phrases like..."Not too bad" thanks or " not too terrible"/ Pretty good etc:-D " I am not too terrible...in fact I am pretty good these days;-D"

When somebody asks you about your health, such as 'How are you?', you definitely have to give that person immediate feedback as to how you are. At the same time, it is courteous to reciprocate the question and say, 'and how are you?'. By doing so, you are signalling to that person that you also care about his/her health. So, if someone asks you: "How are you?", you may respond: I am very well and how are you? or I am doing just fine, how about you? or to a "What's up" question, you may say: I am doing great and you?
