服を着ると調べると、よく出てくるのが、wearとput onだと思います。
これは、少し前にTOEICなどでもよく出題されていたのですが、
wearは「着る」という状態を表す表現
put onは「着る」という動作を表す表現
になっています。
例文
Q: What are you doing now?(今何しているの?)
A: I am putting on my jacket now. (今ジャケットを着ているんだよ)
TOEICなど、写真の場合は、着る瞬間か、動作があるかどうかは写真からでは、わからないので、put onが間違いのひっかけとなっていました。
でも、違いが分かればput onも使える単語でもあるので、違いに気を付けてよかったら使ってみてください。
