One of the 〇〇 is ...の〇〇の部分を変えれば他の表現でも使えます。日本人学習者に多くあるミスはisの部分を複数形のareにしてしまうことです。

one of the causes is
因果関係がある上での「[原因](https://eikaiwa.dmm.com/uknow/questions/36358/)」は"cause"。
one of the triggers is
何かの出来事の引き金になったもの、[きっかけ](https://eikaiwa.dmm.com/uknow/questions/7869/)という意味での「原因」であれば
”trigger”を使っても良いでしょう。
単純に理由でしたら"reason"です。
原因の一つは○○である
