The name for any product made or assembled at home, is 'homemade.' A homemade dish is food prepared in a particular way at home. 'Homemade fare' could be anything such as jam, marmalade, wine, any dish or food or drink preparation made at home.

However it also means dishes/food that has been made in restaurant but it tastes like homemade food.
Therefore you will see that sometimes a restaurant can sell homemade food.

We use home-style cooking for food that is prepared like we would make it at our house . A home cooked meal is a dish or meal made in your house. If we say a dish is hand-made or a dish was made from scratch that means we made it ourselves, it is not pre-packaged. Any food or food product made in our house we call home-cooked. .

If something is homemade it is made or prepared at home, locally, or by the maker's own efforts.

Breakfast at the farmhouse always meant homemade preserves.

Soul food
This is a term used to describe African-American food although you may use it as an alternative to talking about food made and prepared by your family.
e.g I am so tired of take-aways,I really need to go to my mother's house for some soul food.

My Grandmother makes the most delicious Homemade apple pie.
Good old fashioned home cooking!
