彼には、上司の言動で自分に不利な内容を聞き流すなど、良い意味でのいい加減さが必要だ。これを英訳してください。

ここでの「いい加減さ」は、物事を気楽にとらえるといった意味合いでしょう。その場合、take it easyやdon't take X seriously等が使えるのではないかと思います。
