別表現を紹介させて頂きます。
～I'll need it in the future.
と言えば、シンプルに「将来それ（＝英語）が必要になるでしょう」
というニュアンスを表せます。将来英語を使わなくてはいけない
状況を想像しながら言っている感じです。

I do not currently use English at work, however I am confident I will need it, in the future
Currently: now /at the present time. We may not need someting currently...but still study hard due to the potential usefullness at some time in the future...
Current needs do not determine our future needs..."I do not currently use English at work, however I am confident I will need it, in the future"
Currentlyは「今、現在」という意味です。
今は必要なものではないけれど、将来使う可能性があるのでしっかり勉強しなければいけません。
今必要なものが将来必要なもを決める訳ではありません。

現在英語を仕事で使っていませんが、将来必ず必要になってきます。
I don't speak English often at work, but I will be needing it soon in the near future.
At the moment I don't really use English in my job, however in the future I will have to.
"I don't speak English often at work, but I will be needing it soon in the near future." is a clear way to explain that right now, you are not using English but will be needing it in the near future.

When you want to tell someone that you don't use English at your current job, but will need it for the future; then you can say:

今の仕事では英語を使わないが、将来は必要になるかもしれないと言いたいときは、
