●「今の部下の半分以上が私より年上です。」
✔"More than half"➔半分以上
✔"my current direct reports"➔"current"→今の（現在の）"direct reports"（直属の部下）
✔"older than I am"➔自分より年上。
★口語で、"older than me"と言うネイティブは少なくありませんが、文法的に正しいのは、"older than I am"です。面接というフォーマルな場では、こちらの方が好印象を与えると思います。省略して、"older than I"と言ってもＯＫです。
●「以前も、似たような状況で仕事をした経験があります。」
✔"I also have experience working"➔○○の、○○で仕事をした経験もあります
✔"in a similar situation"➔似たような状況で（シチュエーションで）

この場合、次のような言い方ができますよ。
ーOver half of the people who report to me in my current position are older than me.
「現在の職でも、半分以上の部下が、私より年上です」
people who report to me を使って自分の部下のことを言えます。
ーThe job I had before this one was like that as well.
「今の仕事の前の職も同じような感じでした」
